All across the nation, Cal Ripken, Sr. League alumni took home national and conference honors during the 2008 collegiate baseball season. Ripken, Sr. League veteran Tim Park (William & Mary/Bombers 2005, T-Bolts 2006-2007) was named to the Louisville Slugger/TPX All-America Third Team along with teammate Mike Sheridan (William & Mary/T-Bolts 2006) and Chris Taylor (Charlotte/Big Train 2006). Meanwhile, Kenny Moreland (Christopher Newport/Big Train 2005) earned ABCA/Rawlings Division III All-America First-Team honors and was named the D3Baseball.com Pitcher of the Year.
