The 2010 collegiate season saw three Ripken League alumni placed on All-America teams, four alumni win their respective conference's Player or Pitcher of the Year Awards, and countless others earn All-Conference or All-Region honors. Meanwhile, outfielder Chris Duffy (Central Florida/Bethesda Big Train 2007) is a semi-finalist for the prestigious Golden Spikes Award, presented annually to the nation's top collegiate player by USA Baseball. Duffy is also a semi-finalist for the NCBWA's similar Dick Howser Trophy, as is Drew Lee (Morehead State/Bethesda Big Train 2008-09) and Joe Leonard (Pitt/Youse's Orioles 2009). Leonard was the Big East Conference Player of the Year in 2010.
