Louisville Slugger, Ping!Baseball.com announce '10 Preseason All-America Teams

Jarrett Parker (Virginia/Herndon Braves 2007) and Drew Lee (Morehead State/Bethesda Big Train 2008-09) have been named 2010 Louisville Slugger Preseason All-Americans by Collegiate Baseball newspaper. The college baseball web site Ping!Baseball has also included Parker and Lee on its Preseason All-America teams.

Parker earned First Team honors as an outfielder for the University of Virginia, while Lee earned Second Team honors as a shortstop for Morehead State University. Parker was an All-Star selection for the Herndon Braves and a Top 10 Ripken League prospect in 2007. Lee led the Ripken League with seven home runs and was an All-Star selection for the Bethesda Big Train in 2008.

In other preseason collegiate news, the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association has included Collin Cargill (Southern Miss/Bethesda Big Train 2007) on its 2010 Stopper of the Year Watch List.
