Dolan (Bombers '06) recognized nationally

Junior Tom Dolan (Temple/College Park Bombers 2006) earned Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week honors by Collegiate Baseball after striking out 16 batters in eight innings of work against Dayton on Sunday. Dolan took a no-hitter into the seventh inning and allowed just one earned run. The lefthander has allowed just four earned runs in his past 36 innings pitched and has a 4-2 record with a 1.80 ERA for the Temple Owls. Dolan was also named to College Baseball Foundation's weekly National Honor Roll.
Senior Chad Kerfoot (Delaware/Youse's Maryland Orioles 2005) was named Colonial Athletic Association Co-Pitcher of the Week after allowing just two hits in eight shutout innings for the Delaware Blue Hens in a victory over George Mason on Sunday. Kerfoot took a no-hitter into the fifth inning and and struck out five to earn his first victory of the season. Kerfoot was also named to College Baseball Foundation's weekly National Honor Roll.
Senior Bill Konecny (Xavier/Silver Spring-Takoma Thunderbolts 2005) was named Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Week for the week of April 2 after tossing a complete-game shutout for the Xavier Muskateers against the Saint Louis Billikens on Friday. Konecny allowed just two hits and three walks and struck out six while facing just one batter over the minimum.
