Heading into the Fourth of July holiday, the Bethesda Big Train and Youse's Orioles split a doubleheader, 2-3 and 2-0. The first two batters scored for Bethesda in Game 1, but Drew Permison (Towson) settled in for the O's and allowed just one more hit and one more walk the rest of the way while striking out three to pick up the complete-game victory. Hugh Adams (Florida Atlantic) turned the tables for Bethesda in Game 2, allowing just three hits and a walk while striking out five en route to the shutout.

The split allowed the Maryland Redbirds to recapture sole possession of second-place in the League standings by knocking off the visiting Alexandria Aces, 4-1. Jackson Geary (Coastal Carolina) allowed just two hits in five innings to get the win and Ryan Garton (Florida Atlantic) pitched three shutout innings to get the save. Frank Florio (Stetson) had three hits and two RBI for the Redbirds.

The Herndon Braves and Rockville Express split a doubleheader, 4-3 and 1-7. Shannon Mark (Christopher Newport) had a pair of hits, a pair of runs, and walk to lead the Braves in Game 1. The Leisenheimer brothers provided much of the offense for the Express in Game 1, with Justin Leisenheimer (Maine) blasting a three-run home run in the third inning and Ian Leisenheimer (Maine) following with a solo shot in the fourth. Jabair Khan (Temple) had two hits and two RBI for the Express in Game 2.
